Shipping Policy

How shipping is handled for the BizBlasts platform itself, and how BizBlasts supports independent businesses that sell and ship physical goods through their BizBlasts site.

1. BizBlasts Is a Software Platform

BizBlasts itself is a digital, subscription-based platform. We do not ship physical goods when you sign up for a BizBlasts account or pay a BizBlasts subscription. Access is provisioned electronically through your dashboard, custom domain, and email.

2. Goods Sold by Independent Businesses

Many businesses that use BizBlasts sell physical products through their BizBlasts site. When a customer buys a physical product from one of those businesses:

  • The transaction is between the customer and the underlying business, not BizBlasts.
  • That business is responsible for setting its shipping rates, handling times, carrier choice, insurance, tracking, and returned packages.
  • That business is responsible for any customs, duties, taxes, or import restrictions that apply.
  • That business is responsible for clearly publishing its own shipping terms on its BizBlasts site (for example, on the product page, in the cart, or in a published page).

For questions about a specific order, customers should contact the business they ordered from directly. Each BizBlasts-hosted site shows business contact information in the header and footer.

3. Platform Tools BizBlasts Provides

To help businesses fulfill orders, the BizBlasts platform offers tools such as:

  • Order management with status tracking (received, processing, shipped, completed, cancelled).
  • Configurable shipping methods and rates per business.
  • Customer notifications for order confirmations, status changes, and shipping updates.
  • Service-area checks for delivery and on-site service businesses.

These tools record and communicate shipping information that the business provides; BizBlasts does not itself pick, pack, or ship goods on behalf of any business.

4. Service-Based and Digital-Only Businesses

For service-based businesses (such as massage therapy, cleaning, lessons, consulting) and digital-only businesses, no physical shipping is involved. “Shipping” in those contexts refers to service delivery at the agreed time and location, or electronic access to a digital item, and is governed by the business’s own booking, cancellation, and service policies.

5. BizBlasts Subscription Activation

For BizBlasts subscriptions, activation typically happens immediately after payment is captured and your account is set up. Custom-domain hosting becomes available when your DNS records are verified; that step depends on your domain registrar and can take time to propagate. We send setup instructions and progress updates to the email address on your account.

6. Changes

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time by posting a revised version on the site and updating the effective date above.
